This past weekend, 13 athletes from American Top Team Tracy stepped into the ring at the historic Stockton Civic Auditorium to compete in the latest Muay Thai Development League (MDL) event, hosted by WBC Muay Thai.
For many of our students, these were their very first E-Class (Educational Class) Muay Thai matches. These bouts are designed to give new competitors valuable experience in a safe, controlled environment while allowing them to showcase the skills they’ve worked so hard to develop in the gym.
Watching our youth athletes walk to the ring with confidence, composure, and courage was something special. It takes dedication to train day after day, but it takes real character to step through the ropes and perform in front of a crowd.
The three young athletes featured in this photo represent exactly what we strive to build at American Top Team Tracy—discipline, respect, resilience, and the willingness to challenge themselves. Win or lose, every competitor walked away better than when they entered the ring.
Our entire team delivered outstanding performances throughout the day, demonstrating excellent technique, sportsmanship, and heart. We couldn’t be prouder of all 13 competitors and the coaches, training partners, and families who supported them along the way.
A huge thank you goes out to WBC Muay Thai and everyone involved in organizing another first-class event at the Stockton Civic Auditorium. From start to finish, it was a five-star experience that continues to help grow the next generation of Muay Thai athletes.
Congratulations to all of our students. This was another important step in their martial arts journey, and we’re excited to see where their hard work takes them next.
