Cade Albracht Captures ISKA Super Welterweight Title at Tech CU Arena
San Jose — Saturday, December 13
Cade Albracht added another championship to his growing résumé on Saturday night, winning the ISKA Super Welterweight title under K-1 rules at Fight Night inside San Jose’s Tech CU Arena.
Facing a relentless and aggressive Alex Pasos, the Tracy native delivered a composed, tactical performance that showcased both patience and ring intelligence. From the opening bell, Pasos pressed forward aggressively, throwing volume and forcing Albracht to adapt on the fly. The constant pressure made it difficult early on for Albracht and his corner to find clean openings.
The turning point came in Round 3. Following instructions from his corner, Albracht began giving Pasos more space, allowing the challenger to walk into sharp counter punches and well-timed counter kicks. The adjustment paid immediate dividends. Albracht’s accuracy and timing began to slow Pasos’ momentum, and the fight steadily swung in the champion’s favor.
Albracht clearly took control in Rounds 3, 4, and 5, repeatedly punishing Pasos’ forward movement while maintaining his composure and defensive discipline. Many observers also gave Albracht Round 2, further solidifying his case for a decisive victory on the judges’ scorecards.
When the final bell sounded, Albracht was crowned ISKA Super Welterweight Champion, marking his 12th fight of the year and his fifth full-contact title captured in 2025. The win underscores a remarkable year of consistency and durability for the Tracy athlete, who has remained active and successful across multiple bouts.
With another championship secured and momentum firmly on his side, Albracht now looks ahead to what promises to be another big year. If Saturday night was any indication, the new ISKA champion is just getting started.
